Every year, World Homoeopathy Awareness Week is organized from April 10 to April 16. This week celebrates the birth of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, who founded homeopathy at the end of the 18th century. The date of April 10 represents both the start of the awareness week and the birthday of Dr. Hahnemann. The World Homeopathy Awareness Organization (WHOA), a non-profit and non-governmental organization founded in 2008, organizes and manages this week-long event. The goal of this day is to let people know more about homeopathy, exchange and discuss ideas, promote homeopathic institutions worldwide, and give people additional information. (National Today)
