How many consumers of over-the-counter non-homeopathic medicines and prescribed medicines give thought to the probability that the symptoms from which they seek relief are a picture of chronic disease versus a troublesome acute problem? How can we understand the difference and what this means in a deeper context ? Attendees at Homeopathy Delaware’s February meeting were enlightened about this while listening to Dr. Shelley Epstein of Wilmington Animal Hospital, who is certified in veterinary Homeopathy, speak about recognizing chronic disease in our animals.
Homeopathy Delaware was host to several eager attendees who braved the cold to come learn about healthy choices in dental care through homeopathy on the evening of January 3, 2018.
Time allowed but for limited mention of additional important topics surrounding dental care. I would like to highlight them in this blog and give you resources for further enquiry.
Homeopathy Delaware was pleased to have Robert Bannan, homeopath, speak with us on November 1st about Boenninghausen’s straight forward, fairly quick, helpful method for finding a remedy for the symptomatic person – C.L.E.M.S.
We realize that understanding Homeopathy can be a challenge, albeit a very rewarding one, as we are asked to suspend our concepts of a conventional medical system which attempts to make us ‘healthy’ by covering up and suppressing symptoms.
The good news is – people who use Homeopathy for acute viral illness are less likely to need over the counter drugs, antibiotics and other prescription drugs such as steroids. This is important because antibiotics do not help treat viruses like colds, flu, bronchitis and many sinus infections. They kill healthy bacteria we need and fuel the rise of antibiotic resistance.
